We block guides, vehicle and rooms for seven days at no cost while you check flights and leave. Internal flights are the one thing we cannot hold without payment.
Twenty-five per cent confirms it. You receive the full terms, the insurance requirement, the kit list and the name and telephone number of your guide.
Balance at 45 days. A briefing the evening before — in person in Douala or Buea, or by video call — and then the vehicle at your hotel at the hour written on the itinerary.

The best weeks at Waza and Bénoué, and hot with it. The south-west begins to break by late April and the mountain closes toward the end of May.
Serious rain in the south-west — the wettest month at Debundscha can pass two metres. No summit treks. Highlands, Foumban and Yaoundé run normally and cost less.
Rain easing, everything green, almost nobody travelling. Excellent for the Ring Road and Foumban, marginal for the mountain, too early for the north.

Yes, and the certificate is checked on arrival at Douala. Antimalarials are strongly advised for every region and essential in the north.
Fit enough to walk nine hours uphill on a rough path two days running. No technical skill and no rope work, but it is a long way up and the altitude is real above 3,000 metres.
On fixed departures, yes, at the group rate. Privately, we can run for one, though the per-person figure is close to the two-traveller price for the whole vehicle.
MTN and Orange cover most of the route. There is no signal on the mountain above Hut 1 and none in Korup. Carry cash for the north — the last dependable machine is in Maroua.
Constantly. CEMAC and Cameroonian residents pay the resident park tariff, and we run short weekend departures out of Douala and Yaoundé through the dry season.
